| Other Info | Ryan Buell is the lead investigator for the hit docu-drama "Paranormal State" on A&E, which chronicles the real-life investigations of Buell and the Paranormal Research Society. Buell originally founded the Paranormal Research Society at Penn State in 2001, but it has since become a national organization, researching the unexplained all over the U.S.
Buell always had an interest in the paranormal from a very early age. Having a paranormal experience as a child, it led him to seek out answers. He regularly checked out books from the library ranging from poltergeists to the Bermuda Triangle.
A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Buell began investigating at the age of 15, exploring local haunts such as churches and old southern plantations. In December 2007, Buell and the PRS entered the national spotlight with the debut of the A&E series, "Paranormal State." With over two million viewers tuning in weekly, it has become a hit show on cable. "Paranormal State" is now in its second season.
Buell, now finishing his second degree, is currently writing his first book, scheduled to be released in mid-2009. Aside from the paranormal, Buell travels the world, writes, is an avid movie junkie and is a freelance journalist. |

| Other Info | Without knowing, Kari Byron had been training her whole life to be a Mythbuster. By the age of 5 she was setting up experiments to test on her sister using dolls as crash test dummies. Today Kari works with the MythBusters team, using science and Yankee ingenuity to solve the mysteries of today's most compelling urban legends.
Before becoming a Mythbuster, Grant Imahara was an animatronics engineer and model-maker for George Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic in Marin County, California. He specialized in electronics and radio control at the ILM Model Shop, and has credits on numerous movies, including Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Star Wars: Episode I, II, and III, Galaxy Quest, AI: Artificial Intelligence, Terminator 3, Matrix: Reloaded and Revolutions, and most recently, Van Helsing.
